A pair of brilliant sunflowers dancing across the page. I had a large bouquet of sunflowers that slowly diminished in size. The last two looked so good together I decided to paint them as a pair! Using complementary colors, the flowers seem to pop right off the page!
Pat Dolan has a BA in art and education and is a multi-media artist. Throughout her career as an artist, Pat taught classes in drawing, watercolor, pastel, colored pencil, color theory, pen & ink, quilting, creative stitchery, and more. She has lived in rural Pennsylvania for many years where she became well known as a realistic watercolorist focusing on antique still life arrangements, flowers, birds, and rural landscapes as her subject matter. While living in New Jersey, Pat chose the fiber medium with its variant textures to express her inner visions.
